Patrick L. Rendon

Patrick Rendon has practiced law for over twenty years, concentrating in three principle areas: environmental, real estate, and construction. He also has litigated business disputes and intellectual property cases. Mr. Rendon represents clients in litigation and in transactional matters.

In litigation, Mr. Rendon has served as lead trial counsel and has taken cases through to jury verdict. The types of cases which Mr. Rendon has litigated include environmental cases, including Superfund cases, complex construction cases, foreclosure actions, eminent domain actions, homeowner association disputes, and disputes arising from substantial real estate development projects. He also has served as lead appellate counsel and appeared for oral argument before the California Court of Appeal. Mr. Rendon is on the mediation panel of the Los Angeles Superior Court.

In his transactional practice, Mr. Rendon has been involved in a broad range of matters, from the sale of a condominium to negotiating the sale of a 6,700 acre master-planned development and a golf course. Mr. Rendon also has negotiated engineering, procurement and construction contracts valued up to $1.2 Billion. Mr. Rendon is fluent in Spanish and has negotiated and drafted construction contracts in Latin America.
